The Padel Local opens in Alwoodley in Summer 2026, and the people on the waitlist now are the ones who will shape what this club becomes. Founding membership isn't a tier you buy from a price list — there is no price list yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. It's a standing invitation to be first: first on the courts, first to lock in founding-member rates, first through the door at our pre-opening events. Two covered, FIP-spec courts. Two coaches who want Alwoodley to fall for this sport. One list that decides who gets there ahead of everyone else. Padel membership in Leeds starts here.
No. The waitlist is completely free and commits you to nothing. It secures your priority place for booking, founding-member rates and pre-opening events when The Padel Local opens in Alwoodley in Summer 2026.
Founding-member rates are early-supporter pricing reserved only for people who join the waitlist before opening. We haven't published final prices yet and won't invent them — confirmed rates will be shared with the waitlist first, ahead of general membership.
With two covered, professional-grade courts, peak evening and weekend slots are limited. Waitlist members are offered booking priority from day one, so founding members reach the most popular times before general release.
We open in Summer 2026 in Alwoodley, North Leeds, at the Alwoodley Community Association on The Avenue, LS17 7NZ. The current site is a waitlist for founding members.
Anyone — whether you've never picked up a racket or you play competitively. Founding membership is open to players across Alwoodley, Moortown, Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Shadwell, Harewood and the wider North Leeds area who join the waitlist before we open.
