The Padel Local is the first padel club in Alwoodley, and at its heart sit two professional-grade panoramic courts, built to international federation (FIP) specification and fully covered beneath a single state-of-the-art canopy. These aren't pop-up courts squeezed into a car park. They are a permanent, premium home for padel courts in Leeds — designed so the game can be played properly: floodlit after dark, dry underfoot, every month of the year. Around the courts you'll find everything a modern club should have: coffee and food, a retail shop, equipment hire, modern changing rooms and a garden viewing terrace, all within the welcoming setting of the Alwoodley Community Association.
Yes. Both courts at The Padel Local sit beneath a full, state-of-the-art canopy, so play is never cancelled for weather. You can play rain or shine, year-round, with floodlighting for evening sessions.

Absolutely. We offer equipment hire on site, plus a retail shop stocking rackets, balls and grips, so you can turn up with nothing and still get a proper game.
The Padel Local opens in Summer 2026. The waitlist is open now, and joining early secures priority court booking, founding-member rates and invitations to exclusive pre-opening events.
